[TAS] The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess 100% in

It is finished... the first ever Twilight Princess 100% Tool Assisted Speedrun is finally upon us!

This is by far the biggest speedrun-related project I have ever worked on, and it is safe to say that Twilight Princess is by far one of the most complicated Zelda games to TAS. I had never done a TAS of this game before I decided to start this one, so this project was also a learning experience for the most part.

This is a 100% TAS, one of the longest speedrun categories of any game. For this category, we not only need to beat the game but also obtain all of the game's main collectible items and complete all the main and side quests.

Here are the requirements for Twilight Princess as outlined by speedrun.com.

You must collect:
- All Heart Pieces and Heart Containers
- All items on the pause menu which include:
- All Mirror Shards
- All Fused Shadows
- All Equipment:
(Ordon Sword and Master Sword, Hylian Shield and Ordon Shield/Wooden Shield, Hero's Clothes, Zora Armor, and Magic Armor)
- All 7 Hidden Skills
- All 24 Golden Bugs
- All 15 Warp Portals
- All 60 Poe Souls
- Giant Wallet
- Giant Quiver
- Any Wolf Scent
- At least 1 Postman Letter
- The Fishing Journal
- All items on the item wheel and their respective upgrades
(Includes Coral Earring, Bomb Bags, Quiver)

Now, I want to take a moment to talk about the reason why I started this TAS in the first place. The story begins after the All Dungeons TAS was revealed (which if you haven't watched yet, I highly recommend you do so, it's a very entertaining watch.) As I watched the TAS, I was amazed at all of the strategies and techniques being used. At first, the prospect of starting a 100% TAS was more of a meme than anything, I joked that I would start a TAS in around 5 years just because it seemed so unlikely to happen, but after watching that TAS, I began to seriously consider it.

After thinking about it for a bit, I decided I would do it, and as of December 1st, 2022, I began working on it. Throughout the production, the All Dungeons TAS ended up being a great resource and served as a reference not just for the dungeons, but certain sections of the overworld as well, it gave me something to compare against, and it made the TASing process much easier and much faster.

I want to give a shoutout to ‪@Ekke325‬ the author of the All Dungeons TAS, he spent 4 years of his time working on it and created something amazing.

This TAS is the result of over a year's worth of work, 1 year and 3 months to exact, countless hours have been put into making it a reality, and now, it is finally in tangible form. As is the case with any other TAS, this one is by no means perfect, and it is not meant to be a demonstration of skill, it is simply a demonstration of what this category would look like if it was done with little to no human error, and as such, it serves as a form of entertainment.
