Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Goldilocks. She was called Goldilocks because of her lovely golden hair that shimmered like sunshine.

One day, Goldilocks decided to go for a walk in the forest, and she wandered further and further away from home.

As she skipped along the forest path, she came across a small quaint cottage. Curious and feeling a bit adventurous, Goldilocks decided to peek inside.

Inside the cottage lived three bears: Papa Bear, Mama Bear, and Baby Bear. But the bears weren't home. They had gone for a stroll in the forest while their porridge cooled.

Goldilocks noticed the bowls of porridge on the table and said to herself, "This porridge smells delicious!" She first tasted the porridge from Papa Bear's big bowl.

"Too hot!" she cried, fanning her mouth. So she tried Mama Bear's medium-sized bowl of porridge. "Too cold!" she lamented.

Then she tasted the porridge from Baby Bear's small bowl. "Just right!" she exclaimed happily and ate it all up.

After finishing the porridge, Goldilocks felt sleepy and saw three chairs in the living room. She first tried to sit in Papa Bear's large chair.

"Too hard!" she squeaked, unable to get comfortable. Next, she tried Mama Bear's medium chair. "Too soft!" she giggled as she sank deep into the cushions.

Finally, she tried Baby Bear's small chair. "Just right!" she declared. But as she settled comfortably, the chair broke apart, sending her tumbling to the floor.

Feeling very tired from all the commotion, Goldilocks decided to go upstairs and lay down. She found three beds lined up neatly in the bedroom.

She tried lying down on Papa Bear's big bed, but it was "Too hard," she grumbled as she tried to find a cozy spot. Then she tried Mama Bear's medium bed and murmured, "Too soft."

At last, she lay down on Baby Bear's small bed. "Ah, just right," she sighed with relief, and in no time at all, she fell asleep.

Soon, the three bears returned home. Papa Bear noticed immediately that someone had been eating his porridge. "Someone's been eating my porridge," he growled in his deep, rumbling voice.

Mama Bear noticed her porridge, too. "Someone's been eating my porridge," she said in her gentle voice. Baby Bear looked at his empty bowl and squeaked, "Someone's been eating my porridge, and they've eaten it all up!"

As they moved to the living room, the bears saw that their chairs had been disturbed. "Someone's been sitting in my chair," gruffed Papa Bear. "Someone's been sitting in my chair," purred Mama Bear.
