Israel vs Hezbollah with Nicholas Blanford

Israel has dealt Hezbollah a severe below with its exploding pager attack and subsequent bombing campaign. The Iranian backed militant group has sworn revenge while the Israeli government says it has opened a new front in its yearlong war. Until recently many middle-east observers believed that both sides had wanted to avoid an all-out conflict. Now, with a larger war looming, its not clear what either side can achieve. Much, Blanford suggests, depends on how Iran wants its proxy to act.
