The Tripura Pradesh Congress staged a forceful protest in Agartala, marching against the introduction of the "Ji Ramji Bill" which replaces the established MGNREGA framework. Alleging that the rebranding and policy changes undermine the fundamental rights of rural laborers and act against public interest, party workers raised slogans and burned an effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the state capital.
