Diary of a Drought Tolerant Garden California zone 9-10

Hello There...I hope you enjoy the detailed evolution of my drought tolerant garden over the last 3 years. My garden is in Southern California, and we are inland in zone 9-10. If you are considering replacing your turf/lawn check out rebates that are available in your city. There is a pre-approval process BEFORE removing your turf/lawn or starting your project, look carefully at all requirements. Trust me it's an easy process and absolutely worth it!!! My rebate covered close to half my initial installation costs and the turf removal has decreased my water bill.
