1953 Dunedin Festival Road Race - New Zealand
This video not only has historical significance in that it records one of New Zealand's first ever race meetings but it was also in the days before we had established race circuits, subsequently many race meetings were held on public roads.

It is a particularly valuable memory to me as it was the first race meeting I attended as a three year old with my Dad, although I do not remember much of it, it fueled my passion for motorsport which lead to the past 67 years as an event organiser, championship co-ordinator, competitor and motorsport manager.
