The Hōryū Gakumonji (法隆学問寺), meaning Learning Temple of the Flourishing Law, contains the famous bronze Shaka Triad (Shaka Sanzonzō, 釈迦三尊像), and dates from at least 670 A.D. It is among the oldest extant Buddhist statues in Japan, at the time when artistic influence from Korea was still very prominent, and is housed in a building that is considered to be the oldest wooden structure in the world, in Nara, Japan. The wooden Kōmokuten (廣目天) near the end of the clip is from the oldest extant set of SHITENNŌ (四天王, or Four Heavenly Kings) in Japan, which are also part of the overall sculpture group.
