400- BST Bug Types vs Radical Red: Bug Eats Bug World Part 1

Описание к видео 400- BST Bug Types vs Radical Red: Bug Eats Bug World Part 1

I am doing a relatively casual playthrough of Pokemon Radical Red only using Bug types that have a BST (Base Stat Total) of 400 or less.

I will be doing both the Pre-Surge and Post-Surge Bugsy fights but I wanted to go through Pre-Surge first and then do Misty (with Misty requiring actual strategy (somewhat)).

Lokix:
Tinted Lens, Silver Powder, First Impression, U-Turn, Knock Off. It is the second fastest on Bugsy's team. Lokix will likely Knock Off turn 1 if it notices an item, it is recommended you have either Silk Trap or no item at all. With Charjabug, it panics since it can't do reasonable damage and I have Bug Bite, so it U-Turns out into...

Scizor:
Scizor is his slowest Pokemon but it also has nothing for a Charjabug that is effective. So it would likely swap out. It has a Sitrus Berry so either have Incinerate or use Bug Bite like me. It will likely U-Turn out or Aerial Ace if it sees a kill.

Scyther:
This Pokemon is a danger to you as it is the team's highest speed priority. With a Speed stat of 71, it is a force to be reckoned with. Charjabug can Spark it and if you are lucky you can get a Paralysis and beat it quick. It has a Charti Berry for Rock types so don't bother.

Ledian:
This thing is a Bug/Fighting type with 2 elemental punches and Iron Fist. As seen, it also has Focus Sash. It is no longer the tank it once was. But it is a powerful Physical attacker. Still 2 Air Slash from Beautifly makes it quick work.

My rules are simple:
MGM Mode
Base Radical Red Difficulty
Bug Type Pokemon Only
All Bug Type Pokemon must have a base stat total equal to or less than 400.
