SOSIALISASI ARTJOG 2023 - MOTIF: LAMARAN

ARTJOG 2023 akan berlangsung mulai 30 Juni - 27 Agustus 2023 di Jogja National Museum, Yogyakarta. Festival seni rupa kontemporer tahun ini akan dikurasi bersama oleh kurator sekaligus penulis Hendro Wiyanto dan seniman mapan Nadiah Bamadhaj dengan mengusung tema Motif: Lamaran. Motif ingin menggabungkan ide-ide pola karya seniman dan meminta mereka untuk mengungkapkan maksud dan motivasi di balik karya mereka. Lamaran merupakan metodologi bagi tim kuratorial dalam mendekati dan menggali motivasi dan praktik berkesenian melalui kontak, diskusi, dan silahturahmi dengan seniman.

ARTJOG 2023 will occur from 30 June - 27 August 2023 at the Jogja Nasional Museum in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. This year contemporary art festival will be co-curated by curator and writer Hendro Wiyanto and established artist Nadiah Bamadhaj and carries the theme Motif: Lamaran. Motif wishes to combine the ideas of a pattern of working of artists and ask them to reveal the intent and motivation behind their works. Lamaran is a methodology for the curatorial team in approaching and drawing out the motivation and art practices through contact, discussions, and silahturahmi with artists.
