Please join me as I chat with writer and director L. C. Holt about his debut feature ‘Spiritus’.

One year after the mysterious death of Marjorie Hines, a group of her friends - each grieving in their own way - begin to suspect there was more to her suicide than initially suspected. More and more details emerge as one of them attempts to make a documentary about her life—details which suggest some may be more to blame than others. The real problem is that Marjorie’s spirit is restless and ready to claim vengeance. It’s going to take more than amateur detective work to appease the monster waiting in the dark.
L.C. Holt is a writer, director, actor, painter, and playwright best known for his work in “You’re Next,” “V/H/S/2,” and “Pop Skull.” Born in Montgomery, Alabama, he began his career by auditioning in 1993 for the role of Young Forrest in "Forrest Gump." After that, he appeared uncredited in Charles Matthau's "The Grass Harp," Michael Mann's "The Insider" and Tim Burton's "Big Fish," before starting a career in horror with "Home Sick," starring Bill Moseley and Tom Towles. That film was also the directing debut of Adam Wingard ("You're Next," "Blair Witch”).
