HODGE CLOSE QUARRY: A COMPLETE Tour Of This Adventure Playground for Adults

A guided tour of one of Britain's most picturesque and iconic quarries.
Join me as I explore the caves, caverns, tunnels, slopes and features of this Hidden gem in the heart of the English Lake District.

I touch upon the history of what was once a green slate mine. I speculate about how the workforce might have lived and worked here in the 19th century, the fatalities that have occurred here since then. I'll show you some great vantage points and photo opportunities, whilst preparing you for some of the hazards along the way.

Use this video as inspiration for making your own visit to the quarry, part of my reason for making these videos is to inspire and provide adventure ideas, but please heed my safety warnings contained within and beware of the risks of solo adventuring in a place like this. Let some one know where you are going with plans to check in. There is no phone signal once you are in this quarry.
