We’ve all been missing Jay Brown from our screens – though, fear not, we’re sure he’ll be back! We caught up with the actor behind the popular EastEnders local at the Inside Soap Awards and Jamie Borthwick explained that his highlight of the year was most definitely Jay’s trauma after inadvertently entering into a relationship with an underage schoolgirl.

He also had high praise for Jay’s developed relationship with his brother in everything but blood, Ben Mitchell – and gave the delightful news that his and Harry Reid’s series of Carpool Karaoke may well have a few more entries as they get stuck in traffic!
