Dewalt Random Orbit Sander Pad and Brake Replacement

My Dewalt D26453 random orbit sander developed a wobble and the velcro pad kept spinning after picking the sander while turned-on.  The problem was that I had a worn-out brake and one spring of the brake was completely gone.
