Ford Connect Van Roof Rust Repair Complete Treatment & Paint

This video covers how I attack some rust on a Ford Connect I'm converting into a campervan. Ford Connects have usual rust issues around the sills and on the rood, I have already done the sills in another video on my channel so now it's time to get the roof rust sorted before the van goes in for paint. The worst effected area was cut out for a skylight so it was more surface rust that remained and needed taking care of. I remove all visible rust with a flap disc grinder, then treat the area's stripped back with Rustins Rust Remover, Hammerite Kurust, primer paint, filler then more primer and finally a full paint job over the van to tidy it all up. Once the final paint job is completed the repairs look excellent with no noticeable repairs to the roof thanks to days of sanding & prep work.
