Kiss & Goodbye is a 1-hour mix of soft Persian jazz for airports, train stations, and all the quiet moments when someone you love is on the other side of security.
Goodbyes at airports are strange: on the outside it’s everyone hurrying, announcements calling flights, and suitcase wheels on the floor; on the inside it’s a whole storm that has to stay invisible. You try to make small talk in the check-in line, you drink a low-quality expensive coffee that’s already gone cold, and then suddenly you reach the point where you have to let go: security takes one person forward and leaves the other standing behind. That last hug at the barrier, the kiss you try to hold a bit too long, the last glance before they disappear into the crowd; all of it is too big for the space you’re standing in. This mix is for that inner world: the part of you that wants to be dramatic, and the part of you that quietly turns around, walks to the metro station, and pretends nothing huge just happened.

The music in this mix is inspired by the mood and harmonies of Javad Maaroufi’s Golden Dreams album, translated into a slow, café-jazz atmosphere.
