The Dark Side of Leadership | Linda Karp | TEDxLSSC

Workplace environment atmosphere and culture is set by those who lead. Research shows destructive leaders creates disruption in the workplace, interfere with job production, generate undue stress, and cause an increase in employee turnover. Learning to identify actions and mindsets that lead to this can help us develop positive leadership behavior that benefits both the employee and the organization. Dr. Linda Karp holds a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and a master’s in political science. Her dissertation addressed an employee’s perception of destructive leadership in higher education. She currently works as an instructor for Lake-Sumter State College teaching political science and psychology courses. Additionally, she owns her own Coaching and Consulting Firm, Mustang Coaching & Consulting, LLC. In her spare time, she shows and trains her horses.
