What is Histrionic Personality Disorder?

In this video Darren Magee outlines and describes the eight criteria used to diagnose Histrionic Personality Disorder, part of the Cluster B group of personalities. Looking at some of the characteristics present such as attention seeking behaviour, the need to be centre of attention, shallow and rapidly changing emotions. Looking also at difficulties in relationships with others. It is difficult to diagnose as may be comorbid with other disorders such as dependant, borderline, narcissistic and anti social.
