Sesshoumaru (Suite) | Inuyasha (OST) by Kaoru Wada

Based on the manga by Rumiko Takahashi, “Inuyasha” follows Kagome Higurashi, a teenage girl who happens to travel back in time in the Sengoku period, where she meets the half-human, half-demon Inuyasha and other characters, and whose adventures revolves around collecting the fragments of the Shikon Jewel. “Inuyasha” has been one of the most popular anime of its generation, thanks to the entertaining story, engaging characters and beautiful animations by Sunrise. The musical score has been composed by Kaoru Wada, and is characterized by its orchestral sound and iconic melodies for its main characters.

Sesshoumaru is the older brother of Inuyasha, a full demon who opposes and rivals with Inuyasha and his friends to gain more power from the fragments of the Shikon Jewel. His musical theme is imposing, menacing and istantly recognizable, definitely suitable to the cold and composed character of Sesshoumaru.
