The +VEL Wheels from Sigma Sports have grabbed your attention because of their insanely low price, and what appears to be good quality. In this video I try and cut through the usual media cut and paste reviews of carbon wheels and show you in detail what to expect from a budget wheel set like this.

We take a close look at the spoke tensions both with a tyre fitted and inflated and without the tyre. We take a look at the general construction, the materials used and hypothesise as to why some design choices were made.
