I visited the Germany Pavilion at the Osaka Expo in Japan and it was one of the most unique experiences.

Right at the entrance, they handed us a character-like audio guide, a small, toy like device that you put near your ear and it speaks in English, Japanese, or German as you explore.

The pavilion focused on Germany’s vision for circular cities, urban environments designed for sustainability, innovation, and community.

Everything was interactive: touch displays lit up with your movements, and the layout itself was circular, echoing the theme.

You could even sit on rotating couches that educated you on future city planning and technology.
It was immersive, smart, and beautifully designed
