A poet’s imagination of how Krishna one morning decided to leave Mathura to go back to see Raadha. The poet, a witness to this act of krishna asks him,
“ what happened this morning, oh lord of Mathura, that you have suddenly decided to go to Gokul? You’re leaving this beautiful land, your duties as a ruler, taking the crown off your head and rushing off in a hurry. What do you hope to achieve? You have left your symbols of royalty strewn on the floor, do you believe that you can play the flute again? which bird whispered something in your ear such that pangs of separation sprung in your heart?”

“Your Radha is now leading the life of a married woman. She milks the cows and is engaged in daily chores throughout the day. Her tears shed at your departure have long since dried. Why must you awaken a pain that has subsided? “
