Testing out my Kenwood TH-D74A on Concord, CA, D-STAR Repeater: W6CX. W6CX is ~38 ground miles east of my home location.

I made a good connection into W6CX, and I picked up an operator from Korea. The Korean operator was talking with a US operator from the South Eastern part of the US.

The GPS and APRS were also active; and, in part of the video, you will see a white W pop up on my screen. That’s my Kenwood APRS icon I selected. The popping up of that icon on my screen indicates that my Kenwood sent a beacon to APRS to register my exact location.

I’m very pleased with the Kenwood TH-D74A.
