Yamaha YFZ450 Build - Part 14 - Engine (Motor) Install (Installation), Assemble (Assembly) - In this video we will begin by checking the piston oil rings end gaps in the cylinder (jug) and making sure all the piston ring end gap placements are properly aligned, installing the piston rings in the proper orientation. Installing the top end piston. Rebuilding the cylinder head and torqueing the head bolts in the proper tightening sequence. Installing valves, valve seals, valve retainers, valve seats, valve springs, valve keepers (or cotters). Install and time (set timing) the camshafts (cams) by aligning the camshaft sprocket punch marks. We accomplished this by inserting & torqueing all the bolts, and adding electrical components, brackets, clips, torsion springs, compression springs, bearings, rubber caps, snap rings, circlips, o rings, Delrin bushings, collars, cotter pins and by using loctite (thread locker) red 271 and blue & anti-seize copper.
