Automated OutSystems to Mendix migration

In this video you will see how we can automatically migrate (parts of) your OutSystems application landscape to the Mendix platform.

With the Coolprofs Cool Data Model Info extension for OutSystems, we can extract the data structure of your OutSystems landscape. Based on this output, our tool ACACIA can then generate one or more Mendix application(s) with the same data (domain) model. Additionally, it generates a basis security model, based on an admin an a user role, and standard CRUD pages to view and edit all the data. Additional parameters can be passed such as the starter template app to use, to enable anonymous users to parts of your application, and some more advanced settings and features to stear the look-and-feel of the generated application.
Additionally, a data import module is generated, in which (CSV) exports of the actual OutSystems data can be imported.
As it is currently not possible to export the security model, logic or screens from the OutSystems platform, we do not claim a 100% automatic migration to Mendix; the generated application may require additional manual enhancement to fully fit your needs.
