The Summit will be inaugurated by Shri Jitin Prasada, Minister of State, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, underscoring India’s leadership in advancing the responsible and accountable use of artificial intelligence for public good.

Convened as India accelerates the use of AI for inclusive growth, governance, and social good, the Summit brings together senior government leaders, law enforcement, technologists, policymakers, researchers, and civil society to examine how artificial intelligence can be operationalised within child protection systems.

The focus is on AI-enabled systems that strengthen justice delivery, enable early intervention, and prevent harm by responding effectively to vulnerabilities faced by children and combating crimes such as child marriage, child trafficking, child sexual abuse, and online child sexual exploitation and abuse material (CSEAM) while being responsibly integrated into national child protection frameworks.
