Halloween 2024 Soap Design Inspiration - Part One - Recipe Included

Описание к видео Halloween 2024 Soap Design Inspiration - Part One - Recipe Included

I get design inspiration for my seasonal cold process soaps from lots of places, including fellow soapers. One of the places I look for ideas is popular brands and stores such as Pottery Barn, William Sonoma, Michaels, Home Goods, and for this soap...Meri Meri.

I love looking at what's out there and popular for each season and if nothing else, I get great color pallets to design from.

I chose the colors for this soap from one of the plate selections from Meri Meri. I love the vintage and whimsical look to these. I thought it would make for a great soap color combination along with some fun embeds. This soap is designed to appeal to everyone. Children and adults. The fragrance is a sweet Pear Prosecco.

I cut these bars with a sharp knife to reduce air bubbles. (My blender is acting up and giving me lots of bubbles lately.)

I include the recipe below including the Micas and fragrance I used.

***Test batching: I recommend doing a test batch if you're using a new recipe, fragrance oil, or special additives. You don't want to ruin a large batch if things don't go as planned! This is my test batch size. You can adjust yours to suit your needs.
