This brief conversation comes about after seeing the results of Degrassi's "Heartthrob" tournament...3 of final 4 characters have had been the show's undisputed male lead at some point. If opportunity correlates strongly with a character's popularity, do minorities (who routinely play support roles on the show) ever stand a chance to reach A-level character status on Degrassi?
