For the first time in two rounds of questioning in his civil trial, O-J Simpson showed emotion on the stand as he expressed concern that his children may have seen their mother's dead body.

In what could be his last day on the stand, Simpson also testified on Monday that he was suicidal during the low-speed car chase two years ago.

And getting to see the Simpson trial is one of the hottest tickets in town, as people ritually cue up for their lottery ticket and a chance to witness the trial first hand.

Another day on the witness stand for O-J Simpson who's being tried in civil court for killing Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman.

O-J Simpson's voice wavered Monday as he told jurors how he worried whether his children had seen the body of their mother after she was stabbed to death.

And with a second day of questioning by his own lawyer, Simpson talked about the frantic hours after he was called in Chicago and informed that ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson had been killed outside her condominium.

The plaintiffs' lawyer Daniel Petrocelli launched into an aggressive cross-examination after Simpson wound up five hours of friendly questioning Friday and Monday from his own lawyers.

O-J Simpson acknowledged that from time to time he was unfaithful to Nicole Brown Simpson, conceding that his behaviour was morally dishonest but saying it didn't mean he was a liar.

The cues outside the Santa Monica courthouse form early with people trying to get a chance to witness the trial first hand as O-J takes the stand.

The second O-J Simpson trial is attracting almost as much attention with many people offering their own opinions on the case.

A chance to witness a piece of legal history first hand means people have to cue up for a lottery ticket, all hoping they will be passed the ticket with the winning number.

After more waiting, the moment finally arrives when a court official calls out the winning numbers and the chance to see O-J Simpson on the stand.

Last week with his own defense team at the helm, Simpson returned to the stand to finally tell his story to a jury his way.

He was relaxed as he told jurors that his marriage to Ms. Simpson was a great love story in a rags-to-riches life, ultimately doomed by her erratic behaviour and wild lifestyle.

For the Goldman family and their lawyers, Monday means a chance to try to discredit Simpson and his story.

Fred Goldman lost his son Ron in the murder.

49 year-old Simpson, an American football legend turned actor, was acquitted in 1995 of murder in the June 12, 1994, knife slayings.

But O-J Simpson is now being sued by the victims' relatives, who believe he is the killer.
