lil death SHREDS melvin, bloodhorns scream and sacrafices betty, hes HELLA underrated for this stage. Having a decent frontliner also helps protect your tarnished walls, thats how i built a newell stack in phase 1, the walls can also protect lil death from melvin, if hes raged, melvin will go down quick, just make sure you have a wall for that phase. Keep in mind that if my wall was at higher health, melvin would've gone down sooner, we are taking advantage of the fact that he is single target and putting lil death to use in his 3rd phase. If you could also get a full lil chronos on melvin that helps too, even though chronos didn't do much outside of early game
