Namaste, We are Shirish and Pooja
and Welcome to a Veg Biryani Special Episode of ‪@RedSoilStories‬
I was working in the farm, it is now season of Summer Rice Crop.
Pooja decided to prepare Vegetable biryani and Boondi rayta that day.
She started preparing it by frying the Onion and cashew nuts, then she cut the vegetables and marinated them various spices.
For vegetable biryani she used Basmati Rice which she half cooked using spices. Then she cooked the marinated veggies and assembled the biryani in the big pot.
Meanwhile I returned from the farm hungry, I asked Pooja for lunch but it was not ready so we had a watermelon. Meanwhile Pooja prepared boondi raayta.
Once the Veg Biryani was ready we had our lunch, it turned out very delicious.
