Ragamalika Sloka by Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer

I feel very humbled when I listen to such personalities. This concert is the best concert I have heard in 13 years of my time listening to carnatic music. I am lost for words to describe the experience I had listening to this concert. The healthy competition between Lalgudi and Semmangudi on stage brings out the best in each others music. Both these musicians are in the prime - Semmangudi's outstanding shareeram, Lalgudi's fantastic bowing and sheer greatness in their manodharma - each raga has been handled with atmost care and conviction.
