Sparrow Health System and Michigan State University have partnered to form the Sparrow Sports Medicine Clinic. The clinic specializes in concussion treatment and concussion rehabilitation among local athletes.

Did you know Sparrow has 14 athletic trainers working at high schools in communities throughout Lansing and Mid-Michigan? These athletics trainers can help diagnose concussions and determine treatment in high school athletes.

What are the signs of a concussion? Physicians tell parents to look out for headaches, dizziness, confusion, nausea, slurred speech, vomiting, and other neurological signs.
