2010 Firemen's Nationals wild finish

Описание к видео 2010 Firemen's Nationals wild finish

USAC Midget series 50 lap race at Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, on September 4, 2010.

I sensed that the race would have a good finish when Darren Hagan began challenging Brad Kuhn with about 5 laps to go. I grabbed my Kodak digital camera and shot some video. The camera is a few years old and does not take the greatest video (poor autofocus).

Who was involved:
Darren Hagan - black #3
Brad Kuhn - blue and white #17B
Tracy Hines - yellow #24
Jerry Coons, Jr. - white #11

After Hagen passed Kuhn in the front stretch, Kuhn spun him out in turn 2. Hagen did a 360 and slowed to bring out the caution. After getting pushed off, Hagen chased down Kuhn under caution and showed him his opinion of Kuhn's move.

USAC black flagged both drivers. Hagen took his car to the infield, but Kuhn stubbornly stayed on the track. USAC restarted the race, but did not score Kuhn. Tracy Hines fended off Jerry Coons, Jr., to take the win.

After the race, the fans booed Kuhn while he egged them on from the front stretch fence.
