Africa at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. Filmed July 9, 2023.

On this very special Exhibit Tour, we’re exploring arguably the most popular zoo exhibit in the country. Cincinnati’s Africa opened in five phases spread across eight years. Thanks to an inspirational icon, this region has become the face of the Cincinnati Zoo. Our adventure begins with Flamingos and Giraffes, before we pause to take in the fun, and educational Cheetah Encounter Show. Next is their impressive Lion pair, who survey over the lively mixed species plains, home to a growing Lesser Kudu herd, and seven African birds. The Plains lead us to the beautiful Painted Dog Valley, and after a quick visit their Meerkats, we’ll wrap up our tour with the world’s most famous family of Hippos.
