What is tulip? Most commonly, tulipwood is the greenish yellowish wood yielded from the tulip tree, found on the Eastern side of North America and a similar species in some parts of China. In the United States, it is commonly known as tulip poplar or yellow poplar, even though the tree is not related to the poplars.

Noble & Cooley finished this solid shell in their perfect gloss finish which allows all of the natural detail of this beautiful wood shine through. You can almost get lost in it. 10/10 in both appearance and sound.

It features the N&C Snare System, Nodal Point technology and a 1/4" piece of stream-bent tulip with N&C's incredible bearing edges. The shell is 7" deep for extra fullness. Truly a dream snare.
