I love to find rare moths in Florida and twice, we have found the TITAN SPHINX moth, a day flying sphingid moth that flies just like a humming bird. They can be seen at flowers zipping from bloom to bloom sipping nectar. There are several other species in the same genus that cause some confusion when trying to identify this moth. The tantalus sphinx is also a resident of south Florida and the Florida Keys that looks very similar. In this video, we will try our best to show you the difference.
