WOW! All that glitters is obviously GOLD!

We have a fabulous day in the sunshine, back out on the field with The Sovereign Metal Detecting Rally Group.
Plenty of live digging with my Nox 800 showing you the signals as I go. Simon has the best day ever! He finds his first ever gold and I couldn't be happier for him :)

1851 was during Australia's Gold Rush and their government campaigned for them to be able to mint their own gold coins.... In 1853 their wish was granted and the Royal Mint sent equipment and 20 staff to oversee the production of gold coins. Minting began in 1855. It wasn't until 1887 that their coins were legal tender in the UK
