Another successful campaign mission clearing air defense units from the entire SW region which will open the door for ground strike air interdiction flights. This was a the flight package:
Jackal 5 was Escort and CAP, holding off the continued flow of Su-27's and Su-30's
Viper 6 was a TASMO strike on the carrier group, then moved into CAP duties over the SA-17 area...'just' clear of the launch range of the missiles.
Jackal 3 (video from #2 seat) was tasked with AAA Fire Control, and all units in the SA-11 and SA-17 group. Good weather allowed the use of GBU-39's from a safe range.
Package logged the mission as Successful, eliminating all of the planned SAM targets and getting good hits with all Harpoon missiles, while the CAP successfully defended the package.
