In this video, I build a new deck and skirting on one side of my off grid cabin in the woods. Using a mixture of new and used lumber, I frame a mini wall and fasten T1-11 siding to match the existing siding of the cabin. I also build an access door with hinges and a latch for accessing the underside of the cabin, including important electrical and plumbing hardware. The new deck provides a nice transition between the cabin, the garage, and the new crawl access door. Tune in next week to see me add handrail and steps to the deck.
