Apologies this video gets a little slow toward the end, although includes a full disassembly of the Asus X540LA-XX013T, although this guide should apply for any laptop in the Asus X540L series.

It includes a breakdown and disassembly for:

* Hard disk upgrade to SSD (Solid State Disk)
* DVD-RW to BluRay
* Memory upgrade upon the base memory

Hopefully this helps you upgrade your system.

Of course after this you'll also need to install MS Windows 10x64 home from a Windows ISO (which are easy enough to find online) and adjust your boot settings to allow the installation.
