Pakistan was left red-faced at the United Nations after a fiery takedown by human rights lawyer Hillel Neuer, Executive Director of UN Watch. Speaking at the 60th Session of UN Human Rights Council, Neuer slammed Islamabad for supporting Qatar in the wake of Israeli strikes, before branding Pakistan “another state sponsor of terrorism.”

Neuer accused Pakistan and Qatar of harboring and enabling terrorist groups like Hamas, questioning why militants are given luxury hotels to plan their operations. He reminded the council of Pakistan’s long history with terror networks, recalling how Osama Bin Laden was found hiding near a Pakistani military academy.

When a Pakistani diplomat tried to interrupt, Neuer doubled down, declaring, “Mr. President, Pakistan is another state sponsor of terror.” The statement, backed by the UNHRC chair, left Pakistan humiliated and speechless on the global stage.

This dramatic exchange has sparked a global debate over Islamabad’s role in backing terrorism.
