In a swift and commendable operation, the Bheemli police have solved the murder case of a married woman within just 12 hours. The victim, later identified as Venkatalakshmi, was found in a burned condition near National Highway 26 in the Dakamarri Panchayat area of Visakhapatnam district. A black-beaded mangalsutra found at the scene confirmed she was married. Visakhapatnam Commissioner of Police Shankha Brata Bagchi addressed the media and revealed key details of the investigation.

Police teams were deployed to crack the case, and based on crucial leads, the police identified Kranti Kumar as the prime suspect. He was reportedly in an extramarital relationship with the victim, which had caused tension in his personal life. As per the investigation, Kranti Kumar allegedly invited Venkatalakshmi out under false pretenses, took her to a secured location, and carried out a pre-planned act. He then attempted to stage the incident as a robbery to mislead authorities.
