Learn how to cancel your YouTube Music subscription easily, whether you subscribed through Google Play or Apple’s App Store. Since YouTube Music Premium is included with YouTube Premium, canceling one automatically cancels the other. The process is simple and ensures you won’t be charged for the next billing period, while still keeping access to all premium features until the current cycle ends.

If you subscribed to YouTube Music through an Android device, open the Google Play Store on your phone. Tap your profile icon located in the top-right corner of the screen, then select Payments and subscriptions. Next, tap on Subscriptions to view all your active memberships. You’ll see YouTube or YouTube Music listed here. Tap on it, then select Cancel subscription and follow the on-screen steps to confirm. Once canceled, your Premium benefits will continue until the end of the current billing cycle, after which your account will revert to the free, ad-supported version of YouTube and YouTube Music.

For iPhone users who subscribed through the App Store, open the Settings app on your device and tap your name at the top of the screen. Then, go to Subscriptions to view your active plans. Locate YouTube or YouTube Music and tap Cancel Subscription. Confirm the action to stop future payments. As with Android, your Premium access remains active until the paid period ends.
