1. Remove “auto-suggest”, “auto-correct” and “auto-complete” features in your email and messaging systems. Otherwise, do thorough checks before hitting the “send” button.
2. Make sure that preceding discussion threads that are not relevant to the recipients are deleted before forwarding the email.
3. Always use “bcc” instead of “cc” when sending out emails to a group of recipients, unless that information is necessary.
4. Remember to save draft emails or messages in the “draft” folder until you have time to edit them.
5. Compose and send out important and sensitive emails or text messages when you are more alert and focused.
