Option to update aadhaar details for such students is now available in the first page of the portal under students. Students may first register themselves for new OTR and then use this option to update their aadhaar details for AY 2023-24. Then their OTR will be linked with their renewal applications and student will be able to continue their renewal application in the portal as well as their pending payment for AY 2023-24 will also be processed.

Dear students, the dates for all Central Sector Pre-Matric Scheme are extended as under-
Last date for receipt of applications: 31.10.2024
Last date for INO level verification (L1): 15.11.2024
Last date for DNO/SNO level verification (L2): 30.11.2024

All Renewal students who have received Reference number in their registered mobile numbers should generate OTR only through this reference number only. They need not register as new student in the portal again.

NSP services are now available at Common Service Centres (CSCs). Students can avail the scholarship related services by visiting the nearby CSCs. The total charges for the entire activity per candidate (including generation of Reference number, biometric -authentication, generation of One-Time Registration (OTR) number, and filing of complete application form of the candidate) is fixed at Rs 30.00 (inclusive of all applicable taxes, etc.) To locate the nearest CSC please visit the link: https://locator.csccloud.in/

Dear Student , if you are getting error 904 while doing face authentication, kindly update UIDAI AadhaarFACERD App from PlayStore.

It has been observed in some cases that student’s / parent’s / legal guardian’s face authentication for generation of OTR is getting failed as they (Aadhaar Holder) have locked the biometrics for authentication in their Aadhaar. In such cases students / parents / legal guardians are advised to check their Biometric Lock / Unlock status by using mAadhaar mobile app or My Aadhaar web portal. Before proceeding for face authentication through NSP OTR app, kindly ensure that the Biometric Lock / Unlock status should be as “Unlocked” for authentication in Aadhaar. To lock or unlock the Biometric in Aadhaar, please click on the “Lock/Unlock Aadhaar” option on myAdhaar web portal(please refer to the link: https://resident.uidai.gov.in/bio-lock). One Time Registration (OTR) is a unique number allotted to the student and is applicable for entire academic career on National Scholarship Portal.

OTR is required to apply for the scholarships on National Scholarship Portal from AY 2024-25.

OTR can be generated using Aadhaar/Aadhaar Enrollment number(EID)

The students who have applied on National Scholarship Portal in AY 2023-24 will be allotted the OTR/Reference
