How to Replace your element on the lid element kilns.
Tools needed: * phillips Head screws driver
*2 small Flat Head Screw Driver
*needle Nose Pliers
*3/8 wrench.

1- Disconnect the kiln from the electrical outlet
2-Remove the electrical box from the lid
3-Remove the element tail connectors (wires,bolts,washers and insulators)
4-Remove the lid from the hinge
5-Set the lid on a flat surface with the Groove facing up.
6-Locate the pins and remove them using the needle Nose Pliers.
7-Remove the old element.(cut the tails and slide the element out).
you can cut the old element into small pieces to make the process more smooth..
8- Once the defective element has been removed . Vacuum and completely clean the groove.
9- Istall the new element
