Fanuc | IMTS 2022

Fanuc America is the largest builder of robots in the world. We talked with Christian Steveson in the Fanuc booth at IMTS 2022 about their newest collaborative robots, the Fanuc CRX.

Fanuc decided to start from ground up with the CRX. They went for a very sleek design, brighter colors, smooth casting with no pinch points and a brand new teach pendant. In this series there are five models handling payloads from 5kgs to 25kgs. The cobots are very intuitive and can handle various projects some simple pick and place applications to machine tending and vision projects.

In this cell, Fanuc is featuring a fully automated mobile machine tending application. You can see the loading of parts, machining, washing and drying the parts then unloading them. This demo was a great example the Fanuc CRX's capabilities.
