In this video we are going to discuss Map versus HashMap.
We will talk about that what is Map and HashMap. Also we will see the difference between these two.

In Java, Map is basically an interface which is used to store data in form of key-value pair.

Ans HashMap is one of the class which implements the Map interface, we can use it to create a collection of key-value pairs.

To create a map object we can use the below statement. Where you can replace the curly braces with angular braces.
Map {Integer,String} map = new HashMap{Integer,String}();
