Boom Lift Repair - Main Hydraulic Cylinder. What a BEAST! & Cutting Down Dead Trees.

Last week I fixed the carburetor and king pins, and thought I was done. She had other ideas. While using the lift on a tree job, the main lift cylinder started spraying hydraulic fluid everywhere. So this week, it's removing, fixing and re-installing that cylinder. And changing the hydraulic fluid, just 60 gallons worth! I had to put some money into her this time, but even so, my total cost in the lift now is $10,500 and it's starting to seem like a solid machine. Still a great deal in my book.
