দীর্ঘ দিন মামলা নিষ্পত্তি না হওয়ায় বরিশাল দ্রুত বিচার ট্রাইব্যুনালের সুফল পাচ্ছেন না বিচার প্রার্থীরা। ৬টি মামলার বিচার প্রক্রিয়া নির্ধারিত ১৮০ কার্যদিবস পেরিয়েছে। একটির বিচার ঝুলে আছে ২১ বছর। এর পেছনে স্বাক্ষ্য গ্রহণ জনিত জটিলতা, পুলিশের তদন্ত প্রতিবেদন দিতে দেরিসহ নানা কারণ দেখছেন আইনজীবীরা।
Barisal speedy trial tribunal is not getting the benefit of justice aspirants as the case is not settled for a long time. The trial process of 6 cases has passed the stipulated 180 working days. One has been pending for 21 years. Lawyers are looking at various reasons behind this, including complications related to taking testimony, delay in giving the police investigation report.
